Zazie Films
Zazie Films Inc. is a dynamic francophone production company founded by the driven duo, Rayne Zukerman and Dominic Desjardins. With Rayne’s legal expertise and Dominic’s background in theatre and film, they bring a unique, well-rounded approach to every project. Their passion for storytelling and dedication to their craft, fuel their mission to collaborate with top talent and innovate new ways to engage global audiences. Together, they created and produced two seasons of the scripted comedy series Paris Paris (26 episodes, 30 minutes), airing on TV5 Québec/Unis TV. The series earned a spot in competition at the Festival de la Fiction in France and has been sold to CBC, SBS, and the US market. Their virtual reality project The Dollhouse is selected for the Immersive Competition at Cannes 2025.
Rayne Zukerman
A lawyer by training, Rayne produces in Canada in French with Zazie Films Inc. and in English with IGP Productions, always with heart and passion. She is committed to supporting talented creators and to tell stories that illuminate what lies beneath the surface. She produces virtual reality content, dramas, and documentaries. Regardless of the medium, she seeks to explore Canada’s rich and nascent culture, celebrate the important contribution of women, and challenge stereotypes to tell powerful, beautiful, and human stories.

As a key player in Canada’s screen industry, the APFC promotes the outstanding content created by independent French-language producers. For nearly 25 years, we have represented and supported producers and creators. How do we do it? By defending the cultural and economic value of their work; implementing innovative professional development initiatives so they can remain competitive; constantly monitoring trends in the audiovisual industry; and building new opportunities. Our 26 member producers, who are located throughout Canada, work in television, film and digital media. Our film library, which contains over 425 titles, leaves no doubt about their talent.
