Productions du milieu, founded by René Savoie in 2010, in New Brunswick Canada, aims to create high-quality works with a global vision while maintaining its commitment to the local Francophone community. The company collaborates with local writing and directing talent to produce original creative content that showcases human values in captivating and entertaining projects. It is a company that stands out for its extensive experience in interprovincial coproduction and is focusing on international expansion.
René Savoie
René Savoie is a producer, president, and founder of Productions du Milieu. He began his career as a screenwriter in 2007. Since then, he has produced variety shows, youth programs, a dozen one-off documentaries, and four documentary series. He has also produced two fiction series and is currently developing two more. His passion also lies in film, with three projects in development. René has received three FICFA nominations and three Gémeaux Awards nominations. He has served on the APFC Board of Directors since 2011.

La maison des mouches is a story of Claude, a teenager bullied at school who must confront his fears and gain control of himself after unknowingly awakening the curse of the flies that were dormant for fifty years. With the help of his two friends, he must unravel the mystery to free his family and loved ones from the evil spell rooted in his blood and tied to a house possessed by Belzébuth, the demon of flies.
