Call Center is an office comedy that follows the daily trials and tribulations of the very first French-speaking cohort of multinational TeleSuccess. Most newly arrived in Toronto, the department’s employees have six months to prove themselves. Despite difficult customers, rivalry with English speakers, the threat posed by artificial intelligence and their awkward interactions, they will forge bonds like a chosen family, and find their place within the company and their new city, for better or worse, as the Anglos say.

Passage difficile is an incursion into the seemingly mundane daily lives of a few residents of Sandwich, a small French-speaking neighborhood in Windsor, Ontario, which is in the process of being partially wiped out by the expansion of the Ambassadeur Bridge linking the city to the United States. In the wake of this brutal announcement, some residents are forced to question their plans for the future and, even more unsettlingly, to admit the truth (for once!). With this unprecedented desire for sincerity, Sandwich hasn’t seen so much action since the ketchup shortage.
