When Vincent, an unfortunate singer in his thirties, learns that he is suffering from tongue cancer, he…bursts out laughing. Convinced that he will be able to quickly turn the page on this inconvenience, Vincent agrees to undergo numerous treatments which affect his autonomy to the point that he is forced to accept the services of Renée, an easily distracted and motormouth volunteer driver and Mike, a home health nurse comically insensitive. While Vincent’s good nature fades and doubt settles in, new friendships are created within this unusual trio and it is thanks to them that Vincent will nevertheless manage to give meaning to his life.
