Alex Soldatov
An Emmy Award-winning stuntman, Alex Soldatov has over ten years’ experience in the film industry. Founder of MOWA Productions, he has made the transition to screenwriting and production, while drawing on his Franco-Vietnamese heritage to tell stories rich in action and cultural diversity. An alumnus of the Whistler Film Festival and National Screen Institute labs, Alex has built a reputation for combining creative vision with commercial acumen. He is currently developing several series for national television, including TAM for Radio-Canada and Gourmandises for TV5.

Margaryta Soldatova
Ukrainian-born actress and stunt performer with over 8 years in the Canadian film industry, has joined MOWA Productions as a Producer. With degrees in Law and International Business, she skillfully blends her educational background with the extensive film experience.

As a key player in Canada’s screen industry, the APFC promotes the outstanding content created by independent French-language producers. For nearly 25 years, we have represented and supported producers and creators. How do we do it? By defending the cultural and economic value of their work; implementing innovative professional development initiatives so they can remain competitive; constantly monitoring trends in the audiovisual industry; and building new opportunities.
