2 Coyotes Productions
2 Coyotes was founded in 2007 by the Canadian director and producer Dany Chiasson. Based in Toronto, the company’s mission is to produce high quality feature films and dramatic series that tell strong and original stories. Each project is built in the most fiscally and creative advantageous way possible. As of February 2025, our slate of development includes a dramatic series with Wildbrain/Family Channel/ CMF and a supernatural horror series Pontypool Changes Everything inspired by the cult film Pontypool directed by Canadian Director Bruce McDonald.
Dany Chiasson
Native of Iles de la Madeleine, Québec, Dany Chiasson is a graduate of Laval University in Film Studies and The Acting Program at The Lee Strasberg Theatre School Institute in Los Angeles. Her journey in the film industry started thirty years ago and took many turns. From camera assistant to actress, screenwriter, director and producer, she prides herself for having been around and around “the circus”. Her passion for cinema started when, at the age of fourteen, stuck in the house because of a big snowstorm, she saw Igmar Bergman’s film Shame on tv. She is fluent in French and English and lives in Toronto.

As a key player in Canada’s screen industry, the APFC promotes the outstanding content created by independent French-language producers. For nearly 25 years, we have represented and supported producers and creators. How do we do it? By defending the cultural and economic value of their work; implementing innovative professional development initiatives so they can remain competitive; constantly monitoring trends in the audiovisual industry; and building new opportunities. Our 26 member producers, who are located throughout Canada, work in television, film and digital media. Our film library, which contains over 425 titles, leaves no doubt about their talent.
